Based on its activities, INCB publishes an annual report that is submitted to ECOSOC through the Commission on Narcotic Drugs. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the drug control situation in various parts of the world. As an impartial body, INCB tries to identify and predict dangerous trends and suggests necessary measures to be taken. In its Annual Report, the Board makes recommendations to Governments and international organizations for improving the global drug control situation.

INCB publishes an annual report on the implementation of article 12 of the Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of 1988, on precursors and chemical frequently used in the illicit manufacture of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. |

The report is a supplement to the 2015 Annual Report of the INCB and was prepared to follow up on the implementation by Governments of the Board's recommendations contained in the 2010 Availability Report. The present report publishes the global data on consumption of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances under international control and compared them with impediments reported by 106 countries. |
